Building on the Corps Network's national platform to tackle energy, sustainability and green initiatives through a Clean Energy Corps and other projects, the CCCWV is proud to launch its new Green Initiative in 2009. The mission of the Green Initiative is to spearhead and develop new programs promoting environmental and land use stewardship, energy efficiency, alternative energy, and the growth of the “green economy” while also sustaining, assisting and supporting existing program efforts in communities throughout the Mountain State.
